Thailand Adoption TracingAdoption tracing is the process of:
Our company has performed more than 100 adoption tracing cases. The purpose of this website is to analyze the topic of adoption tracing in Thailand to help you make a thoughtful decision, and to offer and describe our services of adoption tracing should you wish to engage in adoption tracing for Thai biological parents. On this website, we use the phrase "biological parents" whereas in some places they are referred to as the "birth parents". We use "biological" to be clearer, because sometimes there have been nonbiological parents starting shortly after birth for some period of time. A better phrase commonly used is "social parents" who can be anybody who has taken responsibility for parental care of a child but who is not either the biological mother or father. Grandparents and other immediate family, though related biologically, are not referred to as "the biological parents" but are categorized as "social parents" if they take responsibility for parenting a child. There are also sometimes foster parents for some period of time. On this website, we generally refer to "adoptive parents" as those who are the legally recognized social, nonbiological parents of the child. The terminology varies in different parts of the world, and is subject to different language translations, but in this website and in most of our correspondence, we have standardized on these terms.
